What happens next?
Once you have decided to proceed with a course of nutritional therapy, you will receive a health questionnaire to complete before the first consultation.
The first consultation may last from 1 to 1½ hours, following which you will receive a personal nutritional plan. Further ½ hour follow-up meetings are arranged as required after 4 to 6 weeks to monitor progress and re-focus the nutritional plan if necessary.
The cost of the first consultation includes two emails or telephone calls for support until the first follow-up meeting.
Diagnostic Testing
We are fortunate in being able to take advantage of some of the most advanced diagnostic laboratories in the world here in the UK. They provide a wide range of tests which are extremely useful to confirm nutrient levels, allergies, hormone levels etc. Where needed, they can allow more focused use of supplements and diet to achieve results.
Nutritional Supplements
Although the focus of our sessions will be on food, advice and specific recommendations for nutritional supplements may be given. Supplements can help to balance any nutritional deficiencies that may be associated with your conditions to help promote self-healing.
Medical diagnosis, medication and treatment
You are encouraged to remain in contact with your medical practitioner whilst receiving nutritional therapy. You should consult a medical practitioner as soon as possible to obtain a diagnosis for any symptoms that concern you.
You will not be given any advice with regard to reducing or discontinuing medication or other medical treatments that you are currently receiving and you are advised to discuss any changes you may be considering with your medical practitioner.
